I recently met with residents at Quadrant House – a complex of flats with extra support to help older people stay living independently. The residents told me they are very concerned that their support is being reduced due to staff cuts, that there are difficulties getting in and out due to problems with the gates, and that the building isn’t being properly maintained.

I am going to take this issue up with Riverside Housing as a matter of urgency, to find a proper solution and ensure the residents get the support they need and deserve.
