Liz visits Peepul Centre vaccination centre

Liz Kendall with three staff and volunteers from the Peepul Centre vaccination centre in Leicester

Earlier this week I visited the Peepul Centre to see how the vaccination roll-out is progressing in Leicester. I’m so proud of all the staff and volunteers who are delivering the vaccine, and who are working to make it such a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

With rates still high in Leicester, getting the vaccine is the best way to protect yourself and those you love. It will also help get rates down, so we can defeat this virus once and for all.

If you:

  • were aged 45 or over on or before 30 March 2021
  • are at high risk from coronavirus (clinically extremely vulnerable)
  • have a condition that puts you at higher risk (clinically vulnerable)
  • have a learning disability
  • get a Carer’s Allowance, get support following an assessment by your local authority or your GP record shows you are a carer

Then you’re eligible for the vaccine – book yours online.
