Last night I appeared on ITV’s Peston to talk about COP26, and importantly, standards in public life.

I’m really worried that what we’ve seen from Conservative MPs this week is merely the tip of the iceberg. It’s not just about lobbying – it’s about dirty money in politics, and cash for honours. All of this needs sorting out. That’s why Labour would ban MPs from taking up private consultancy jobs, and clean up politics.
