Child poverty is a scar on our society. It harms children’s life chances and our country as a whole.
That’s why I was proud to chair our first Child Poverty Taskforce with the Education Secretary this week.
We will drive action across every Government department, so we tackle poverty and increase opportunity, and give all children the best start in life.
