On Friday I was privileged to meet with Gill, Richard and Denise, who live in Leicester and provide care through Shared Lives Plus. They take people who need care and support into their homes and their lives, either permanently, for short periods, or during the day.

Gill and Richard have been Shared Lives carers for 14 years and they have supported 81 people during this time. The people they care for become members of their family, and really share their lives.

I am determined to do all I can to support and champion Shared Lives Plus, both here in Leicester and across the country.
