Break in at Guru Nanak gurdwara

On Friday 3rd June, I visited the Guru Nanak gurdwara after a break-in during the early hours on 31st May. The intruder stole musical instruments, CCTV cameras, monitors, the temple’s car and money raised for charity. I met with members of the congregation who told me they were saddened by what had happened.

These criminals must be brought to justice. The Gurdwara is peaceful, open and welcoming and I am appalled that they have been treated in this way. I will be writing to our newly elected Police and Crime Commissioner, Willy Bach to ensure they get the support they need.
