On 5th July I attended a packed Westminster Hall debate on the impact that changes to the state pension age are having on women born in the 1950s. Hundreds of thousands of women have had their retirement plans scuppered by changes brought in by the Conservative and Liberal Democrat Coalition Government. MPs from all parties made passionate speeches in the debate, and I will continue fighting the case of the Women Against State Pension Inequality in Parliament until this injustice is addressed.
