Liz closes Carers Week debate in the Commons

This Carers Week, I was honoured to close the debate in the House of Commons about an issue so close to my heart: the battle families face trying to get help to care for their loved ones.
 
Our care system is stretched to the absolute limit – so much so that 2.5 million unpaid carers have had to give up work or reduce their hours because they cannot get the support they need.
