Today I joined campaigners for Glenfield’s children’s heart surgery unit to urge people to respond to the public consultation on the future of the service.

It’s really important that people respond before the deadline on 17 July so their views are heard loud and clear. We’ve made huge progress already but we must now re-double our efforts to make the case for this excellent service and protect it for all the children and families who desperately need it.
