I have been working with Councillors from Abbey and Beaumont Leys to put forward residents’ concerns about Barratt Homes’ planning application to build 320 new homes on Blackbird Road Playing Fields. In response to my survey asking for the views of local residents, I held a meeting on Friday 8th July so that residents could put their questions and concerns directly to Barratt Homes and Leicester City Council.
I want to ensure that the views of local residents are listened to and will be holding a further meeting this September.
