Concerns about booster vaccination take up

The latest data shows that less than a quarter of all care home residents in Leicester have received their Covid-19 booster jab.

The Government set a deadline of November 1 for all care home residents and staff to be offered a booster dose of the vaccine.

With over 43,000 care home residents nationally having died of Covid-19, there can be no excuses for the slow roll-out of the booster jab. At the height of the vaccination programme, 500,000 vaccinations were being delivered every day. We now need the same level of urgency for the booster jab roll-out.
